Facebook to increase friends posts

Recently Facebook have announced a change in the way they will display business pages in your personal timeline. This change will make a difference if you either manage a business page or follow one.

Facebook have decided to increase the priority of your friends posts over pages that you follow. The reason for the change Facebook say is that by increasing friend posts priority will increase connections and conversions.

This does mean it might not be good news for page owners. After all, if their posts are not being seen as much will Facebook still be worth the effort for businesses? There is talk that this will increase businesses to start using or increase using Facebook adverts to get their message across.

Facebook is still the number 1 Social Media platform and one of the cheapest and most effective ways to promote your business

This isn’t without reason, since Facebook going public they have been under pressure to increase profit and this might be the way to do it. It also keeps the valuable public happy as they get to see what most users want, posts about their friends.
