GOYakka is Never Down for Scheduled Maintenance
A lot of thought got put into what we wanted from our social media app, to ensure we are industry leaders, and can offer a service no other is or can. We were only interested in making the best App and not just “another social media management tool”, it has to be better.
We think we are well on the way to creating this App. Already you can schedule your posts on the minute – a first from a social media App – rather than on every 15 or 30 minutes of the hour.
You can schedule your posts using Categories and Sub-Categories – again a first for a social media App – to make scheduling super fast and flexible.
One thing we wanted to achieve is to have a solid platform which will never need to be unavailable to our customers due to planned maintenance. We don’t understand how a company can charge for a service and then bring it offline for them to do some work on it.
We have built GOYakka using a system of multiple versions running at the same time. At any one time there are at least 3 different versions of our App running at the same time, some times even more.
When we need to work on the App to fix a bug or install new functions we do so on a version which no one is using. When we are ready we seamlessly move our customers over to the new upgraded version. You don’t even know it happens.
